One Class Down, One More To Go!

Yay! So I took a test lastnight for my Capstone course, and got a 94% on it, and just finished my final and got a 92% on it, and ended up with a 97% in the class! Woot! Woot! So Capstone is done, now just have to finish out my Professionalism course. I've got a test today and a discussion. Bleh.

Cross Stitch Update:

Decided to show a little more of what I've done with the cross stitch. It's actually quite a bit further along now because I've worked on it again since I took the picture, but here it is. :)

A Great Week Ahead:

Lastnight I watched "Full Metal Jacket" with David and Douglas, and cleaned the kitchen, and got all the laundry done. Today was a really good day. I woke up, went to the beach with Naner, came home, bathed Cleo and vacuumed. Then watched "My Sister's Keeper" with Naner, went to the grocery store, came home to my parents', helped make dinner, then watched "How to Train a Dragon" with my family, then Walmart with Naner. Tomorrow we go to pick up food from Angel Food Ministries, and going to work on the yard. I've got a test to take tomorrow, a test to take Sunday, and a final to take on Sunday. Then Tuesday, we're going to meet up with my family in St. Augustine for the day. I'm pretty excited. :) Also been working a lot on my cross stitch.

Lazy Yet Productive:

It's another one of those days, where I wish I'd just slept the day away. At least I'm being somewhat productive though. I've got a load of dishes washed, a load of laundry in the dryer, and have worked a bit on my cross stitch. I'm contemplating working on some school stuff here in a bit, and then get back to more cross stitch. I want to run to Barnes and Noble to get my book, but I just don't have it in me to drive so far this evening. Maybe we'll go get it tomorrow, after mowing. And in other news, I applied for a Criminal Justice instructor position at UCF. My two favorite professors are on the board, so my fingers are crossed. Also still waiting to hear back from the Juvenile Justice job. We'll see how it goes.

Woo Hoo!

So I called Winnie Palmer, and Winnie Palmer DOES take our insurance, and is actually pretty cheap, much cheaper than we thought it'd be. So after talking with Meredith a little, we're trying to do some digging into Dr.'s visit costs, and see what will be the best for us insurance-wise. But yay, a step in the right direction, and I couldn't be happier!

Just Two More Weeks:

So yesterday I finished 14 quizzes, and a main quiz for my Capstone course, and a test for my Professionalism course. I got straight hundreds on all my Capstone quizzes, and a C on my Professionalism one. :( I've currently got an 80% in that class, and it sucks, because I'm trying hard, but it's not making a difference. I'm just praying I'll make a B overall in the course. However, for my Capstone class, I've only got two weeks left, and have 13 quizzes, a main quiz, and my final to take. So yay! At least that class is almost done, then it's just my professionalism course that I've got to finish out! Thank God!

Productive Day:

So yesterday we mowed our back yard, I had my interview, we cleaned out/up the guest room, we cleaned up/rearranged Naner's room, and we cleaned/rearranged our room. :) And I got two loads of bedding washed. Today I've got two loads of clothes going, and the dishes going. Then I've just got a little homework to do, and then date night with Naner. Dave's for dinner and then Sex and the City 2 :)

Interview:

Well the interview definitely went well, and if nothing else was a cool experience. However there are 145 applicants, so not really sure what my chances are, but they are hiring for 3 different positions. Fingers crossed!

Job Interview:

Well, getting ready to head to my job interview in about 15-20 minutes. I'm really nervous/anxious. Pray for me and wish me luck. I need it.

Getting There..

So I officially have a dentist appointment set up for June 29th. Haven't had one in almost 5 years. It's about time.

David and I have been talking about trying to start having a baby, and are trying to get some research done on it. We're looking around for a good OB/GYN that takes my insurance. Unfortunately the people that my sister in law and mother had take our insurance, but the local hospital doesn't. Complete bullshit. Not that I wanted to have my baby done in that hell hole that they call a hospital anyway, so I guess it works out for the best. So I've got two options for hospitals at the moment that we are looking at...Cape Canaveral and Winnie Palmer. If Winnie Palmer takes our insurance, I'd jump on that in a heart beat. So I've gotta give them a call one of these days to find out, and I found a OB/GYN that works for them. I came off of the pills last night, and we plan to start officially trying in a month or two. :) So pray for us and keep your fingers crossed!

So Tired...

Lord give me strength to finish out this semester with as much motivation and devotion as I've done the rest. I am so tired of school. Well, required courses anyway. I love electives, things I've actually interested in. I've love love love to take a course that's not actually related to my degrees. A foreign language perhaps. I'm just so freaking tired.

I've been reading all week long, and taking notes. I still have 7 more articles to read with notes to take, then have a discussion and a quiz due tonight at midnight. Thankfully my one class (my capstone course that I actually like) will be over to my knowledge at the end of this month so that I'm not stressing about two classes.

We mowed earlier at David's parents' and I've been working on school ever since. I'm thinking I'm going to take a break in a bit, head to my parents' for dinner, and relax a little before I continue on with all of this. Bleh. I want to play video games and work on crafts again. Just a little bit longer. Trying to fight through it, and get to the end. Which on that note, I am officially set to graduate on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 2pm. Unfortunately, we only get 5 tickets, but I'm hoping that I'll be able to find extras through others that won't need all 5. If I can only get 5, then I'd like it to be my parents, David, and David's parents. If I can find more, through the grace of God, I'd love to have my siblings there, and maybe do lunch or something afterwards. :) We'll see how it goes.

And Thursday, I have my interview with the Juvenile Justice Center, so wish me luck! But for now, back to reading and note taking...

Bored and Playing Around:

So I was bored last night and messing around, and this is what I came up with.

I figured since I don't have any babies of my own to do this for yet, I'll use my nieces and nephews. :)

Wants:

So one by one we've been slowly trying to make the changes we want to our house, but it's definitely taking time, and unfortunately most take too much money for us to afford at the moment, but I've been thinking about what all we want to do, and figured I'd start a list so that I have something to check off as funds become available. So here we go..

Privacy Fence
Wood Laminate for the Living Room
Ceiling Fan/Light for Master Bedroom
French Doors for Dining Room
Counter for Kitchen
Ceiling Fan/Light for Living Room
