16 Months:

Holy moly! My big girl is 16 months today! In the past week alone, she's sprouted 3 more teeth, making a grand total of 11! Wow!

She moved fully into 18 month clothing and size 5 shoes.

She can point out the following animals:

dog
cat
turtle
elephant
duck
monkey
crab
fish
giraffe
bird
frog

She can point out the following body parts on herself:

hair
eyes
nose
mouth
tongue
cheeks
chin
ears
fingers
toes
shoulders
knees
belly button/belly
boob

She's trying harder and harder to talk and currently can say:

mama
dada
papa
doug
dog
duck
boob
help
yep
up
toes
quack
woof
ball
bowl
bubble
butt

She dances all over the place and sings along with songs (not quite with words, but she's working on it).

(she also recently discovered her shadow!)

Her current favorite foods are:

frozen grapes
frozen strawberries
frozen blueberries
bananas
goldfish
mini poptarts
yogurt covered raisins
celery

(mmm. blueberries!)

She tries to read books, feeds & rocks her baby, sings to it and takes it for stroller rides, stacks blocks, colors, plays with her mini laptop, water table, and seashells in her water bucket, and loves to play in the baby pool. She also still loves to help mommy however she can, be it laundry, dishes, cleaning up toys or gardening.

This month we took a day trip to Stuart for my cousin's graduation/family soccer game,

took Sophia for her first trip to Seaworld,

celebrated Aunt Carrie's birthday, celebrated Mother's Day,

celebrated Dustin's graduation,

took Sophia on her first trip to the Brevard Zoo,

and celebrated Memorial Day! Talk about a busy month!

(giving Auntie kisses)

I can't wait to see what the next month has in store!
