Just A Quick Update:

Things are very busy in the Pocock household. Sophia has reached the terrible two's, and her new favorite thing is kicking and screaming tantrums. She also started the "why?" phase, and calling for "Ewin" when she wants me. I went to my first OB appointment, and got to the hear the heartbeat, but didn't get to see it yet. Apparently they've changed things since I had Sophia and you only get one ultrasound, and that's around 20 weeks. :( Not really happy about that. Tuesday we go for our first appointment at the birthing center, and I'm pretty excited about that. Really hoping that the insurance issues will all be resolved then.

David is working a lot and has been having to work a little late most days. So we try to make the most of the time we all have together.

Last month we took a quick trip on a rainy day to Epcot, using the neat 4 day passes we got from the giftcards at Christmas!

Oh, and I almost forgot. A friend of ours won some tickets to the Pirates and Princess show but had to work, so she gave the tickets to Sophia and I, so we got to have a fun mommy/daughter day.

This weekend we're supposed to go the Balloon and Air Fest, but it's supposed to rain tomorrow, so I guess we'll see how it goes. Fingers are crossed though. Sunday we are going with some friends to the local Renaissance Faire which should be a lot of fun. It's been a few years since we last went.

Early this month, we took Sophia to Animal Kingdom.

Easter is coming up real quick and will be here before we know it. I'm looking forward to it this year with Sophia though because now she's definitely old enough for egg hunts and will appreciate her basket a little bit more.

In just a few short months we'll be getting to take part in his family's family reunion, so that's something to be excited about. I kind of wish it were sooner because I've had a lot of stress and family drama going on and could definitely use the vacation.

I've been working as much as I can on our family's Halloween costumes. Yes, I realize it's months away, but as I've mentioned before, if I don't work on them early when I can, they won't get done in time. I currently have my hat/wig complete, baby #2's hat complete, and Sophia's hat/wig 90% complete. I have the fabric to make Sophia's dress and complete it, I just need time to sit down and work on it. I still need to find fabric for mine, crochet my boot covers, and crochet a sack for the baby. I haven't even started on David's yet because I'm not entirely sure how to approach that one yet, but I'm pretty excited about how they are turning out.

We've got the spring gardens going again. My tomatoes are massive and are starting to fall over on themselves despite the cages because they are so big and heavy. On the bright side, they DO have a bit of tomatoes on them. My basil is doing great, my strawberries all have little strawberries on them, and my cucumber and greek pepper plants are all flowering beautifully. I just hope we can figure out how to save my tomato plants.

Oh, and we learned to make our own pasta. It was delicious.

Welp, I guess that's it for now.
