September 2020

We started off this month of school with some fun science experiments, or "potions."

We picked some fresh basil from the garden and made homemade sauce.

I got a pressure canner and started canning all the things. :)

The girls had dentist appointments for the first time since covid.

Our garden continued to grow.

All the kiddos got much needed haircuts (they were the only ones scheduled for their time slot so we didn't have to worry about other people being there)

Birdie even got his first haircut!! He did SOOOO good!

Look how handsome!?

Yes, I did keep his first baby curl.

(Sandy got a haircut too.)

We took some more hikes and picnics. :)

The girls had a few spa nights during our evening movies.

We expanded our front garden trail.

I started refinishing an old dresser than had been left behind by the previous owners for Goose. Unfortunately I didn't think to get an original picture before I scraped off the top and painted.

Buggy even helped.

We started building a garden bench for the front tea garden with some live edge from David's dad.

The girls made their own advent calendar boxes. :)

I worked more on our barn door from the pantry.

The kiddos had a ton of fun painting new signs for our Halloween path!

Willy's Wonderland aka Wally's Wonderland released a photo for the upcoming movie, that showed the set of Goose's scene. :) *fingers crossed* that she made the cut. It releases Feb. 12th.

The girls started making homemade soaps, candles and sleep masks for gift sets to sell for the holidays to help pay for their Harry Potter trip.
