My big girl is SIX months old! I can't believe it!
She is so big, and beautiful and full of such life and spunk!
We went to her 6 month check up, where she got her latest vaccines and measured in at 26.75 inches and 15.5 lbs! Though I never would've guessed it, she is actually smaller than Sophia was at this this time in both height and weight.
Still no teeth yet, but boy does she want anything and everything in her mouth to chew on, so I doubt it'll be much longer.
She isn't exactly crawling yet, but she does get on all fours and rocks, and she can move backwards, but not forwards, which she find very frustrating.
Goose got a new (to us) toy from Grandma, that she just loves!
Thanks to Grandma, I got the opportunity to take her on a mommy/daughter date afternoon to get a happy meal and see Cinderella & Frozen Fever!
We also got to set up the tent and our kiddy pools for the girls to play in. :) Rosalie took a few minutes to warm up, but seemed to enjoy splashing around.
I also got to put her cute little tush in some fluff!
Goose had a great time playing with her fishies.
On St. Patrick's Day, I took the girls out to Mall at Millenia to meet the Easter Bunny!
Aunt Carrie met up with us, and joined us for lunch at Johnny Rockets.
The next day, the girls and I went to Target in Viera and had a little girl's day out photo shoot! Seriously though, how freaking cute are my girls? I may do a lot of things badly, but making beautiful babies is not one of them.
The next weekend, we took a family road to Jacksonville to celebrate Sophia's future husband, J's 3rd birthday! On the way home, we stopped in St. Augustine for some dinner and some geocaching/treasure hunting!
Grandma and I took the girls to the park for a nice lunch.
Sophia has been doing TONS of schoolwork! She absolutely loves it! She's now finished THREE workbooks that are PreK-K ages 4-6. She's sooo incredibly smart. She wants to do school almost daily, so I went ahead and also bought her a subscription to the ABCMouse.com app, which she was 37% of the way through the first "grade" the first day she had it. Craziness!
She's doing a fantastic job of writing her letters, and even read the word "DOG" the other day by sounding out the letters! I am so incredibly proud of her growth and zest for learning!
She even started doing math problems! Yep! That's right! She did simple addition without help and even wrote the correct numbers and answers! She's THREE!? What!? I feel pretty confident that by the end of next year, she will be reading.
We took the girls for their annual Easter photos.
Look at what a little lady she is becoming.
We went to the annual Easter egg hunt at my in laws' church,
decorated eggs,
and celebrated Rosalie's first Easter!
Rosalie loves to stand and has started to cruise. She sits completely with no assistance and loves to play. She's now tried about 5 different types of baby food, but so far her favorites are pears and apple butternut squash. She likes to cuddle and eat my face. She has the cutest laugh in the world! She just moved into size 3 diapers, and is in 3-6m clothing, but about to outgrow 6-9m sleepers.
