I am sooo tired. I didn't get much sleep lastnight, and had a rather busy day, so oddly enough, I think I'm about to crash soon, and it's only 6:46pm. What am I? 90? Anyways, with David's parents gone on vacation, I haven't had much to do. I made a few of the elf hats for a few customers and got those all shipped out, so I decided to sit down and test out the crochet/knitting loom that Marj got me. I took a look at the directions it came with for a newborn beanie, and I'm amazed at how fast and easy they are. I made two of them yesterday. I think I'm going to make one that's a size larger though to fit older children, and I may add a pom pom on the tops of some of them. I don't know. But at least it's keeping me somewhat occupied, which is nice. But anyways, I'm gonna go read my Nook for a little bit, and hopefully crash soon. Night all!

Scrapbooking..
So now that I've finished editing the images for Oleg, and am mostly caught up on my shows on Hulu, I figured I'd take a few minutes and put together a digital scrapbooking page for Naner's graduation. Here's what I came up with. For some reason I feel like something is slightly off from how I want it, but I can't put my finger on it, so for now, here it is.

All Grown Up..
Naner graduated BCC last Thursday, and graduated with her high school diploma this past Wednesday. I can't believe how grown up she is. I am so proud of her. Not to mention that she graduated as the salutatorian in high school which is simply just amazing. She's so smart and beautiful. I'm proud to call her my sister.

New Etsy Store!
Okay, so I did it! I have opened a new Etsy store! I don't currently have anything in there available for sale at this very moment, but I will be adding items up later this evening, which will include the baby elf hats, as well as the scarves that I did this past winter. As I learn more, I will add more. :)
If anyone is interested in purchasing one, e-mail me at crafts@dayid.org. Also, I have made a color swatch available to make it easier to pick out your color scheme here. Just click on the image to make it larger to read it.

Baby Elf Hats For Sale..
After showing off the two baby elf hats that I made this past weekend, I've had several people inquire about purchasing them. For those that are interested, if you would like a solid color hat, it is $17 (shipping included, or if you want two colors, it is $22 (shipping included). A discounted rate is available to those that have bought products from me before. If you are interested in purchasing one, you can reach me at crafts@dayid.org. I will have a complete color scheme available soon for you to choose from. I am also in the process of creating an Etsy store for easier purchasing.

One Crafty Hat, Coming Up...
Today was a really nice day. David and I got up, and and I was going to head to Marj's after David headed to work at 2:30pm, but he decided he wanted to go over and check up with her anyway, so we went over early at around 1:30pm so he could talk and whatnot for a little while before having to go to work. While we were there, Marj helped me figure out a pattern that I found for an infant Elf Hat, and I'm so excited at how it turned out! Crocheting is so much fun!
Afterwards, his parents took me out for dinner and ice cream. :) (Thanks Bruce & Marj!) It was nice to just get out of the house, to get doing something crafty again, and to spend some time with them because with the way the past few months have been, there hasn't been much time available for that. But with David trying to go into the Navy and whatnot, we need to get in whatever time we can, while we can. I'm just thankful to have someone like Marj to teach me to do these types of things because I never had a grandmother or aunt that could really teach me, and I've always wanted to learn.
I picked up some more yarn this evening because I was excited, and now that I've made a little girl one (since I already had pink anyway) so that I can make a baby blue and chocolate one for a little boy! Then after that, hopefully I can have her show me how to make the owl hats, which I absolutely love to death!!

A Much Needed, Great Weekend..
Friday afternoon the launch was supposed to go, but got scrubbed, and moved to Monday afternoon. However, because of that, traffic was crazy as usual, so David stayed home instead of being hours late to work. In the evening after things finally settled down, we headed over to his parents' house for dinner with the family. Bruce Robert and his man Sage, and Jim and Elizabeth were both in town.
Then today we got up super early for the Blueberry 5K Run, which had a HUGE turnout. It was a lot of fun! And I got a t-shirt and some blueberries to freeze. :) Afterwards, we all headed over to Meredith's for lunch, swimming, and more family time. All in all, a great, albeit exhausting weekend.
