Month Two & Family Update:

My baby is getting to be so big. She can put her pacifier (which she only gets when I'm not able to be with her, like when I'm driving) in and out by herself.

(Sister love)

This month she has started actually playing with some of her toys, like the mirror on her playmat.

She gives us lots and lots of smiles and cooing, and has even started to LAUGH!

We went on a trip with David's parents to the Kennedy Space Center to see Atlantis, which was so worth it!

(Mercury capsule)

(Bus ride to Saturn V)

(The One and Only Atlantis)

(Sophia in the cockpit)

(Sophia and Daddy in the Space Station)

We celebrated a small, intimate Thanksgiving at my parents' house and then went for a second little one at my in laws as well.

We also (since it was included in the price of admission to KSC) went to check out the Astronaut Hall of Fame (which I've never been to) and Sophia really enjoyed the interactive side.

(Sophia landing the orbiter)

We also went out on Black Friday to purchase our beautiful Christmas tree. Someone however was being cranky and begged Daddy to let her have her own tree, so Daddy caved and now the girls each have their own little prelit trees that they can decorate themselves in coming years. Sophia LOVES hers.

(Rosalie's first ornament)

We also made a trip out to Seaworld again for their winter celebration.

We went for Rosalie's 2 month checkup, but both girls got sick, so she wasn't able to get her vaccines or her ears pierced. She goes back on Friday to get both taken care of. We did however get her measurements. She is now 23.5 inches long and 10 lbs. 12 oz.

We met up with Aunt Elizabeth and the boys for lunch and then went to the Cracker Christmas Festival.

They got to feel pelts like we did in Tennessee.

We also celebrated Uncle Doug & Aunt Chelle's 1 year anniversary.

This next month has a lot more going on.

Month One & Family Update:

Can you believe it's been a month already? My sweet baby Rosalie is growing like a weed. I don't know her length yet, but she weighs 9.75 lbs. Sophia at the same age was 9.12 lbs. She just started smiling and sticking her tongue out when we do it to her. She grabs things like my necklace, my shirt, and the mirror toy on her playmat. She sleeps really well and is just a really happy baby. Sophia absolutely adores her and constantly wants to hold her and touch her and kiss her and has been quite the "mommy's helper" with her.

I decided after I was allowed to drive again, to take the girls on a trip to the park.

It went really well. This month, we also returned to the annual free family day at the Police Hall of Fame.

We attended several holiday events including one in Viera.

We participated in our town's annual fall festival's costume contest again. We went as "Frozen"

(Anna & Olaf)

(Kristoff)

(Elsa)

and we won 1st place for the second year in a row!! (I also won another contest in which I earned a free $250 tattoo).

The next day, we went as a family to Seaworld for trick or treating at their Halloween Spooktacular.

This was the candy from just that night alone.

We went to the pumpkin patch to pick up a few little pumpkins to decorate!

Sophia helped carve her first pumpkin.

On Halloween, we headed to the Cocoa Village Fall Festival and trick or treated there, as well as decorated a pumpkin, got a caricature done, and she got to ride a little train as well.

Once we got back home, we headed to David's parents' neighborhood and did trick or treating there. At the end of it all, we ended up with a full diaper box completely full of candy!! Win!!

We had a lot of fun this month, and we are looking very forward to the next two months! We will get to celebrate Rosalie's first Thanksgiving and first Christmas as well!!
