Making Some Changes:

So I've decided to make some changes in my life. Obviously you can see that I started with my hair. Haha, with all changes that women make, the first is the hair. Next, I am going through all the friends that I can remember having a falling out with and correct it. It doesn't mean that we have to pick up where we left off and be best friends, but I want them to know from my end that I'm sorry for anything I may have done and said in the past, that I either didn't mean then, or no longer mean.

In other news, I got our invite for Elizabeth's wedding today, and I'm very excited! Jim will make a great addition to the family. I do wish that they lived a little closer though. I'd love to have the type of relationship with David's siblings that he has with mine, but it's hard when one is M.I.A., one has 8 kids, most with special needs, two live far away, and the other is never around. It sucks a little bit, but such is life I guess.

Picked up my Christmas lights and decorations from my parents' today, and while we aren't going to have a tree this year, I at least want to try and decorate the outside of the house a little bit and make it feel a little bit more Christmasy.

With all of the scarves I've been making, I've been slacking on the scrapbooking stuff, but this weekend is Renee's 18th birthday, and I'm sure I'll have a ton of photos to use for it! We need to go to another of Usty's games too, so I can make a soccer one for him like I did with the football games that we went to.

In other exciting news, I can't wait until Dec. 12th! My parents and David and I get to go see the Transiberian Orchestra at the Amway Arena!

Today What A Beautiful Day!

Today was a beautiful day! The breeze was nice, all of my football teams won, and FSU won against the gators for the first time in 10+ years. I got to hang out with Naner and Rachel, got new orders for more scarves, and got my hair cut! :) I'm loving it! Tomorrow more working on scarves, and probably watching movies. Not really sure. Maybe I'll read some more.

Today Is Going To Be A Good Day...

I have decided. Today we are going to go mow (I think), pick up some scarves that Marj helped me with (THANKS MARJ!) and get some scarves shipped out today. After over a week of being sick, and having a very sick family, David and I are perfectly good again, and my family is working on getting there. Today is my cousin Mary's 16th birthday, tomorrow is David and I's 4 year wedding anniversary, and Thursday is Thanksgiving. To top it all off, I've finished all but 1.5 scarves from my current orders, which means I can take a break for a day, and then started on a second round of orders! It's been exhausting, but it's given me something to do, and I so thankful for the high response! :) Yay! I did something right. Haha. Now I just really really really want to learn how to make a beanie so that I can make those and sell them to match! :) Well, going to go get started on the rest of my day! Have a great one!

Productive and Exhausting:

Today we had a garage sale that went rather well, thanks to my mom. :) However, she came over at 6:30am to help me set up, and it was 4am when I finally made it to bed, and by that time I realized that if I fell asleep, I wouldn't wake up. So I've now officially been up for 35 hours and am exhausted.

Looking forward to Thanksgiving this week and our 4 year anniversary! :) Now to just go and rest.

Still Sick and Working Hard..

Still feeling kind of crappy, but working hard doing chores, cleaning out the garage for the garage sale on Saturday, getting things ready for the garage sale on Saturday, and working on scarves. Bleh. The good news is, that I got my first two scarves sent out yesterday, and another one completed yesterday. I'm now on my fourth, and doing pretty well with them. I'm very excited. But now back to more cleaning and preparing.

Sick and Busy:

So two nights ago, David got sick, and has apparently so lovingly passed it on to me too. It's getting a little bit better for both of us, but still annoying, and am definitely looking forward to it being gone before the holidays.

I have officially finished two of the scarves and am approximately 1/4 of the way through the 3rd. More than likely I'll have it mostly done, if not finished tomorrow.

Today I picked up two more colors of yarn to work on two more of the orders after this one is complete, as well as a few sheets of poster board to make signs for our yard sale on Saturday. I also went to Waterford and applied for a bunch of jobs, and got applications for others that I'll have to bring one of these days soon.

Now just keeping busy with class, working on scarves, and counting down the days until our 4 year anniversary. :)

One Down, Nineteen to Go...

and my fingers are already exhausted. :)

Wow!

This is fantastic! Since I first posted this at like 11pm lastnight, I've now gotten 15 orders for scarves! How exciting! I never thought in a million years that I'd get anywhere near this much interest, or interest at all honestly...Went to Walmart and picked up some yarn this evening, and am working on order #1. One white scarf coming up...

Could Use Some Help..

I'm in need of money, and since I can't find a job,  with it getting colder, and Christmas/winter right at our door, I'm crocheting solid colored scarves for $10/each. They make great presents! I can have them done within a week's time. So if you want one, or know someone else who might enjoy one, please get in contact with me.

Update:

Tonight I've got a test in German, that I am simply not looking forward to. I've been doing so good, and this test just has too much, and my brain just can't get it in check. I'm feeling like I'm definitely going to bomb this one. :( Then next week is our Oral Test, which I feel I will do a whole lot better on.

We've got a whole lot coming up soon. This coming Saturday is David's birthday! Then the 20th we're having a garage sale, the 24th is our 4 year wedding anniversary, the 25th is Thanksgiving, December 3rd and 4th we're celebrating Naner's 18th birthday, the 9th is Dougal's birthday, the 16th is mine, then Christmas is the 25th. Man time is flying.

I need to start cleaning the house, and labeling things for the garage sale, and I need to get over to Waterford one of these days so that I can apply (in person, because the stores haven't learned about the internet yet) for the seasonal positions over there. Anything is better than nothing. Also, David has a job interview coming up with the Honors college, so keep your fingers crossed, and send us your prayers! :)

YELLOW!

So lastnight David and I had a much needed, very appreciated night out with some friends for her birthday. One of our friends covered all of us to go to Medieval Times, and it was awesome. :) We were on team yellow, and unfortunately, we lost, but it was good times anyway. Lots of yummy good, amazing company, and of course, an awesome picture for proof. :)

So..

Did I mention how much I adore the cold weather? Fires..smores...snuggling. :)

Oh Cold, How I Love Thee...

It is sooo breautiful outside today! Sunshine everywhere, and 63* with a low of 45*!!! I have been waiting for months and months for it to be like this again! I'm so excited. Now to go throw on my winter clothes, and get my butt outside to enjoy this gorgeous day! :)

Marines, and Navy, and Air Force, oh my!

So after getting to meet Elizabeth's fiance, Jim, David and I have been discussing the possibilities, or hopeful possibilities of David potentially entering the military. We're not sure if it's doable or not, but we're investigating it all, and then to decide which branch he'd even want to try for. So who knows...we will see.

Voting:

Feeling kind of disappointed in the people that I know. Of my 260 facebook friends, only 22 have supposedly voted. Kind of sad really. I'm just glad that David and I got to do our early mail-in votes, and got it out of the way.

What A Day...

Today was a great day. We got together with David's family this afternoon for an early "Thanksgiving" celebration, as well as to celebrate my sister-in-law, Elizabeth getting engaged on Friday. :) All in all, it was a great meal, and nice to see family that we don't see very often. I do wish we saw them more often, but life happens. After lunch, David and I got to tag along with Marj, Elizabeth and Jim to see some of the most beautiful animals I've ever seen. It was amazing! Two gorgeous Siberian tigers, and they LICKED my hand!! :) Check it out!
